A couple months back we got asked by the cool fellas over at Coolidge Corner Theatre to put together a special video tribute for the director William Lustig, who was going to be coming into town for some upcoming midnight screenings of Maniac!!
Needless to say, we were pretty fucking stoked on this project as William Lustig is one of our favorite directors (at least when it comes to scenes with zombie cops, car chases or dudes on fire ). So we got to work cutting and pasting together scenes from every Lustig flick besides Maniac. After a few days and a couple cases of beer, we emerged from the bunker with good news, we had given birth to this tasty little nugget for all you guys to enjoy!
After the showing we got to meet up with the man himself to chat about how pumped we were to work on something for him and we even got a super classy photo! Smile kids!
We had lots of fun at the theater! This guy tried to sell us quaaludes in the parking lot, but he looked shifty so we said no. Instead we got a limited edition poster that the Coolidge had put together for the event!
