The Whore Church Logo Design Contest !

Attention friends and fans of the whore church! We need your help with an official Whore Church logo!

You probably already knew that we are releasing our first full video mix-tape on Friday, April 20th 2012 (and if you don’t know, now you know. *$%#@) but we are painfully devoid of our very own logo! How the fuck is the DVD going to look with our shitty handwriting on the cover because we didn’t get an awesome fan to help us create one? Stupid! That’s where YOU come in! We are inviting all artists and graphic designers to create a logo for the Whore Church!

Sad huh? There is so much room for improvement it’s scary. But there are of course a few rules.

1. Artwork must be original.
In case you hadn’t noticed, we love all things metal & black metal! Naturally we would love our logo to reflect that, and while this is really funny

it’s not original and I’m pretty sure Kerry King is going to find his gun. That being said, feel free to get inspired by the letter forms because really are badass.

2. DEADLINE IS MARCH 16th!
This contest needs to be finished Friday March 16th in order to make it into the DVD, get to printing etc. All submissions should be sent to thewhorechurch@gmail.com. We will send you an e-mail back confirming that we got your logo. Please don’t send anything larger than 640×480 pixels for the initial submission, if you win we’ll give you very specific sizing instructions. Please don’t post submissions on the facebook, we want to give everybody a fair chance.

“What’s in it for me?”
Apart from the glowing adoration of the Brothers Vulture, there is some loot involved with winning!
Third Place – Get’s a copy of the DVD & some stickers (not too shabby.)
Second Place – Get’s a copy of the DVD, sticker package & T-shirt
FIRST Place – Ohhh you lucky devil! You are going to get a copy of the DVD, a super limited edition signed VHS of the mixtape, sticker package, T-shirt, a pair of VIP tickets to the premier (details on that in MARCH), a credit on the tape and a super secret prize we can’t even tell you about yet!

Winners will be chosen on March 16th so don’t play around with that deadline! It also goes without saying that the winner will also be getting a plug on the website to their personal portfolio and any other requests they may have so we wish you the best of luck and may the best submission win!
